THRESHOLD

threshold

These latest paintings explores everyday thresholds-spaces where distinctions between interior and exterior, human intention and organic growth, begin to dissolve.

My latest work proposes interconnectedness as something modest, domestic, and persistent.

Human presence is implied rather than depicted, allowing the relationships between things to take precedence over narrative or figures.

Rather than presenting connection as a fixed them, the work considers it as a condition, plants move freely between inside and outside, architecture both contains and yields, objects and surfaces bear the quiet accumulation of time.
