You may be surprised to see these sketches as I probably come across as unlikely football fan! But I have enjoyed watching the Qatar World Cup on the television and wanted to capture the players’ movement and energy. This first is A5 size and features, Japan v Croatia. It is done with a child’s hard blue wax crayon which is simply what I had to hand, as is my wont.
