This post is pure indulgence, of drawings captured during a recent stay at the glorious Sea Marge Hotel in Overstrand, a setting for an Agatha Christie mystery if ever there was one!
I was taken there as a birthday treat by my daughter Antonia, and was joined by my son Max and granddaughter Eva. We were there for not much more than 24 hours but I took every opportunity to draw and paint, completing 19 pieces of the garden, the beach and my family.
I was particularly pleased with the paintings I did at night-time, when I captured this view of the Overstrand garden from my bedroom window.
