Spring has definitely sprung and with it the exhibition season has started. I am thrilled that I have been selected to appear in Norwich’s Spring Art Show and this week I have been choosing works to feature, along with a curator friend.
It is an interesting exercise, enabling me to reflect different styles and subject matter, and from different periods of my life. Amongst these are paintings that I consider homages to friends who have died, including the wonderful Will Giles, who died several years ago. I still remember him fondly, not least because he allowed me to take my students to his incredible exotic garden to paint and draw.
It is a joy to be able to show my work again in such a prominent setting and hope you will be able to visit the show at The Forum in Norwich between 6th and 10th April.
